Meet the Cattle
Here at Perseverance we breed Red Brahman Cattle. We currently have 57 head of cattle due to destocking after the worst rainfall in 37 years in 2019. This also meant having to say good bye to Samari Plains Bull ‘Levi’ who now lives near Noosa.
2020 we destocked leaving us with 50 head of cattle. In September we travelled to Surat to pick up new Samari Plains Bull ‘Illain’ who is 2 years old who went in with the girls in September 2020 and got 21 of the 24 girls old enough to get pregnant in calf and we now have 6 calves of those 21 calves on the ground with the rest due in coming months.
